Kimberly Presley, MSW, LCSW
Kimberly will be taking family leave for three to four months starting the end of January 2019.
Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Social Work from Baylor University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who discovered her passion for helping others by growing up outside Chicago and getting to know the need in the city. She believes that we all have capacity for change and growth when we feel understood, fully known, and accepted. Each person is unique and sees the world differently, and her hope is that she can understand, know, and accept you in order to assist you in the healing and growing process.
Kimberly spent the majority of her career working at a residential treatment center in Chicago. On Chicago's West Side, she was first a therapist, and later clinical director, for adolescents and their families who lived in the inpatient psychiatric facility. She specializes in adolescents, survivors of trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, complex family systems, self-image/self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and conflicts, and suicide. She utilizes various interventions from TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems, and strategic family therapy.
