Crystal Williamson

Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University and her graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.She has a passion for coming alongside people to help them heal from trauma and emotional pain.  

Vanessa Perkins

Vanessa has a passion for helping others learn that their past does not define who they are today or who they will be tomorrow.  She believes that change and rehabilitation may seem impossible to many, yet both are possible when they are really wanted. Vanessa understands how life and environments can become a routine, a pattern, and sometimes an unhealthy cycle. 

Rachel McCullough

Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor. Rachel earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling and is currently pursuing her PhD in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Her work experience includes working at UNT's Child and Family Resource Clinic as the Assistant Director of Clinical Services.

 

Arnise Jackson

Arnise S. Jackson earned her Master of Arts degree at Amberton University in Garland, Texas in Professional Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

Desiree Nitka

Desiree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a diverse clinical history, working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.   She believes that therapy needs to be a safe space where clients can come as they are and not feel judged.  Desiree walks the path with clients to an authentic and fulfilled life.

Crystal Williamson, MSW, LCSW

Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University and her graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.  She has a passion for coming alongside people to help them heal from trauma and emotional pain.  She focuses her work with children, families, couples, and individuals who are working through trauma, family conflict, grief, depression, anxiety, spirituality, and coping with chronic illness.

Crystal spent the first part of her career working with families of children who were dealing with chronic illnesses and disabilities at a children’s hospital.  Crystal uses a trauma-informed approach with her clients, and incorporates methods from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and emotion-focused couples’ therapy.

Vanessa is skilled in several different techniques including Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Vanessa is licensed by the state of Texas as a professional counselor and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Kaplan University and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. She has worked in mental health clinics such as inpatient and outpatient, university counseling centers, court-mandated counseling centers, and private practice.

Rachel McCullough, MS, LPC

Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor. Rachel earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling and is currently pursuing her PhD in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Her work experience includes working at UNT's Child and Family Resource Clinic as the Assistant Director of Clinical Services where she provided counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families for a wide variety of presenting concerns. Rachel has also worked as a play therapist providing services to children in Denton County Schools. 

 Rachel believes in the power of the counseling relationship and strives to develop an authentic, trusting, and open space for clients to explore their concerns. She strives to meet each client where they are and work collaboratively to meet each client's individual needs and goals. Rachel seeks to empower clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their concerns and to build upon their existing strengths and resources. Rachel provides individual counseling to address a wide variety of concerns such as depression, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, aging, illness, and women's issues. Rachel also provides play therapy for children ages 3 to 10 to address concerns such as behavioral issues or trauma. Additionally, Rachel enjoys working with parents to enhance the parent-child relationship.

Desiree Nitka, MSW LCSW

Desiree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a diverse clinical history, working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She believes that therapy needs to be a safe space where clients can come as they are and not feel judged.  Desiree walks the path with clients to an authentic and fulfilled life.  She is passionate about helping clients work through identity issues, unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, negative self-talk, life transitions, self-esteem issues and whatever struggles they face.  Desiree believes that our unique strengths are valuable resources in the journey toward recovery.

Desiree earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University.  She has provided counseling and guidance to at-risk adolescents and their families, children exhibiting signs of distress through behavioral concerns, geriatric hospice patients, nephrology patients, and women who have experienced domestic violence.  Her holistic, trauma-focused, person-centered, and dynamic approach to counseling enables her the freedom to work with a wide-range of clients.  She also believes that it is important to consider the whole person through examining the mind-body connection in the healing process.  Her preferred interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBCT).

Arnise Jackson,M.A. LPC, LCDC

Arnise S. Jackson earned her Master of Art degree at Amberton University in Garland, TX in Professional Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.

As a clinician, she enjoys helping people find solutions to the problems and issues in their lives. She brings clinical experience and academic training in Professional Counseling into her work with clients as they transition through life. Leaving one chapter behind while moving on to the next is bound to be accompanied by times of need in which we need someone to help us learn new strategies or offer encouragement and support.

Arnise’s passion is to contribute in some way to helping individuals and families obtain a better quality of life in any of the areas with which they may be struggling or having difficulty, whether personal or otherwise. People are resilient and have inner strengths which sometimes require professional assistance in order for them to be discovered. Finding such support through this level of expertise helps a person realize no challenge is too big to be overcome if the client is willing to work at it. Arnise has diverse mental health experience working in several types of therapeutic settings including residential treatment centers and mental health facilities, and she has allowed each of these experiences to teach and challenge her as a clinician.
