Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Obsessions are unwanted, repetitive thoughts, mental images, or impulses that can be frightening, distressing, and generate high levels of anxiety. Obsessions are intrusive thoughts that you can’t get out of your head, they are worries and ideas that spin around over and over. Compulsions are behaviors or actions you feel you must perform repetitively. Compulsions are designed as protections against the worries and fears in your obsessive thoughts, they must be done in a very specific way to protect you. For common reasons you may be experiencing OCD symptoms:
You constantly shove negative feelings aside.
You have low self-esteem and a lot of anger toward yourself.
You are always worried that you are being judged.
You are certain you are always doing something wrong.
You don’t have to live with the torture of OCD. Our counselors are here to help create a treatment plan just for you, so you can begin to live a less stressful, doubtful, and guilty life.
